The Stake Centre as Anchor and Horizon

The Stake Centre serves multiple functions: sanctuary, classroom, gathering hall, and community space. The design addresses both civic and sacred roles, balancing openness and introspection, transparency and solidity.

A modular grid organizes the building, with repeated volumes providing structural clarity. Solid masses define permanent functions, while glazed connections admit light and support circulation between spaces. The arrangement allows the building to mediate between enclosure and openness.
